Nicky Bird has worked in the art world for the last fifteen years developing her painting, trompe l’oeil and mural work. She has an incredible sense of design and colour, creating pieces with a strange and beautiful symmetry.

This year’s collection of her work delves into the mysterious and iridescent world of insects. Her belief is that insects capture the space in the human psyche of both beauty and revulsion.

Nicky studied at Bristol Fine Art College and teaches and works in the South West. She exhibits widely in the UK.
