The 'London Painted' Project
We have committed to a five year project to create a fantastic body of work that is everything London. After months of concentrated work by all the artists, administrators and foot soldiers at Art23 we launched the project with an exhibition at The OSO art centre in Barnes. The show was an encouraging success with the staff at the gallery telling us that we attracted more visitors than any exhibition that had been held there.
Art Parties
To introduce the work to a large number of people we are now running a series of Art Parties. They are great fun and a unique way to spend some time with your friends. Anyone can apply to become a party host and as a big thankyou we will commission one of our group of artists to paint your own personal portrait free of charge.

Portraiture
Art23 as a group has often mused at the state of portraiture. It is so often inanimate personal portraits which speak nothing of a person's life and loves.
It is with this in mind that Gabriel Kyne has started the family portraiture project. He is gathering a number of artists round him to create paintings of families at play. Some of our keenest clients are acting as guinea pigs in the work.
We are particularly interested in paintings of families at play on beaches or in parks/gardens.
